luckiest unlucky person

yesterday i went on a really awesome run, until the end when it started raining.
and until i got back to my house and realized my room keys had fallen off of my key chain. i had all my other keys BUT my two keys that let me into my house and room.

alone, in the rain without money, cell phone and only wearing jogging clothes.
after some frantic pacing and looking around i saw the custodian getting into her car.
sprinted across the street and asked for help. she told me to the Vermieterin's office. But of course, they're closed on wednesdays.
So she very kindly started calling someone and was going to let me into the house so i wasn't standing alone in the rain.

while she was doing this, i luckily saw the Vermieterin walking past. After tons of waiting and 130 euros later, i have a key.
and because they don't want somone finding my keys and coming into my room, they changed my lock and gave me new keys today.

a hassle, but i'm just glad i can get into my room and didn't have to spend the night sleeping in jogging clothes on the street.

tomorrow i go to dublin!
