Ich will Waschbrettbauchen!

Things have been good in these parts.  Last night I  spent some time unsuccessfully trying to find a music store.  I ended up finding goth/metal music stores...not exactly what i'm looking for.

This was with Linda, poor thing, she still hasn't found an apartment.  Who knew it would be so difficult? Even though the dorms are a bit...unglamorous, at least i have a place to stay.

but at night i went out with ida (lindas finnish friend) and her language course friends.  Quite a few of them are in siegmunds hof which is nice because i didn't have to walk home alone. They also all go to the TU so it was cool meeting people who might be in my classes.

We went to a mexican bar. I got some sort of tasty cocktail.  We chatted with some of the local germans there and they taught us how to say 'six pack' auf deutsch, 'Waschbrettbauch'.

THey also hailed down the resident magician. He was SO cool! Really great tricks. And he treated us all to a round of schnopps which tasted like cough syrup.

Fun night though, and we even didn't get back all that late!
