i tried out the Musik Raum and it is wonnnderful! After needing some assistance finding it, and then getting in the door, i finally was able to use one of the rooms. The sound is great and it felt so good to play while i'm here. it's also really nice to play without any pressure to sound good. i can just enjoy how i sound and enjoying playing. i also played around on the piano and now wish i brought some music. but i'm visiting a sheet music store tomorrow so maybe i'll purchase some. berlin has provided me some free time that i haven't really experienced for a while. ok, well before i came here i bummed around the house for 3 weeks. but i don't know. during the school year i barely enough time to breath.
side note: my brazilian neighbor just invited me to go out! i hung out with the brazilians of my floor last night, they're all very nice! and we got to practice our german. it stinks that i have to wake up at 7 for school. but we will go out this weekend.
but after going on my very long run, then practicing a very long time i watched obama vs mccain videos for longer than i should have.
soooo addicting. but it also makes me quite nervous. after 8 years of bush i don't know how much more the US can take of bad leadership.
i know who i think supports my rights and my well being, lets just hope he gets it.
i'm glad things are falling into place here in berlin.
and i cannot wait for the school year to start.

Once you have library privileges, you should be able to check out sheet music from the library.
